| Fans of Spin-Off Theatre may be surprised to learn that Roland - the beer connoisseur and heroic mardler - has recently traced his ancestry back to one of the county's most swashbuckling heroes: Horatio Nelson (who, just coincidentally, celebrates his bicentenary this year) They might be even more amazed to learn that Roland's arch rival in love, the villainous Ned, is in fact a direct descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte! The fireworks when the pair meet one night in May can only be compared to Trafalgar, or the Battle of the Nile: it's incredible the way that old ancestral traits come creeping through in moments of crisis... prepare to witness flotillas of ferocious crisps and beer glass formation as never witnessed before... you'll also find out things about Nelson and Napoleon that only the family would know... |

Do you have a story of Nelson you would like included in the show? Can you trace your ancestry back to Horatio or his arch enemy, Napoleon? Do you have any stories of Napoleon (or his family) ever visiting Norfolk?! If so, then email us and let us know!
The show toured pubs in North Norfolk in September 2005.
